Cory Hancock is recent Master’s graduate from American University’s School of International Service and a photographer in Washington, D.C. He has covered events ranging from the 2017 Presidential Inauguration to college football bowl games to community gatherings. His work has been published by The Associated Press, The Washington Post, BuzzFeed, The Marietta Daily Journal, The Gwinnett Daily Post, and others. Cory graduated from American University’s School of International Service e with a Master of Arts degree in Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights with a concentration in Climate Change and Human Mobility in 2022, and he graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Emerging Media and a minor in International Affairs in 2018 where he also served as The Sentinel’s editor-in-chief and photo editor.
